IRELAND SURF TOUR of South Coast - ALL TIME TRAMORE, T-Bay

Can a Man have 2 Homes?? Growing up in Tramore in the south coast of Ireland, I dreamed of escaping to the west coast to surf perfect waves and reef breaks. It was very awesome & nostalgic to leave HOME in Co.Clare (having scored epic waves in Doolin) and travel to HOME in Co.Waterford, where I learned to surf 40 years ago. We chased the same swell that hit the west coast and then tracked underneath Ireland sending swell to Tramore. It wasn't the very best conditions for Tramore &. the Waterford coastline but it wasn't far off all time, in my opinion. Providence had it that while I was in the surf in Tramore, the Surf Guru who taught me & coached me onto the Irish Surf Team, all those years ago, was in the surf and still grabbing his share of waves. Hugh O'Brien Moran is an Irish Surfing Legend, former Irish Surf Champ and Champion of surf coaching in Tramore. Hugh's effect of the development of surfing in Tramore & Ireland will be felt & witnessed for a long time. We then go to surf with Tom & Joe Breen. Some of my first surf trips up to Lahinch were with Tom & Joe's dad, Ronan. It was awesome to surf with the lads, Mikey Brett, Dara Blount, KILLIAN, Jamie O'Byrne & to get a lengthy interview with Martin:) Tramore is definitely a contender for the "FRIENDLIEST SURF TOWN IN THE WORLD". Never mentioning my Mothers Home Cooked Food:) and a Good Chat with TYRONE Power (not the actor). This was an epic trip to the South Coast. The waves did not disappoint. Can a Man have 2 Homes?? YES!
